Bohomoon Review: High-quality, Waterproof Jewellery at Affordable Prices!

Gold Bohomoon jewellery laid out on a soft grey surface

I have a graveyard of jewellery that looked lovely for a fortnight and then turned my skin green. So when I kept seeing Bohomoon promising waterproof, affordable pieces, I did what any sceptic does: I bought a few and tried to break them.

Here's the honest write-up after several weeks of wearing them through showers, the gym and one very salty beach day. No brand sent me anything; these are just my own thoughts on pieces I paid for.

First impressions and quality

The packaging punched above the price — tidy, giftable, and a small step up from what I expected. The pieces themselves have a reassuring bit of weight to them; nothing feels tinny or hollow, which is usually the first tell of jewellery that won't last.

The finish is genuinely good. In photos and in person, the gold tone reads far more expensive than the receipt. If someone told me these were a mid-range brand, I'd have believed them.

The waterproof test

This is the whole reason to buy Bohomoon, so I didn't baby it. I wore the same pieces:

  • Through daily showers for two straight weeks.
  • To the gym, repeatedly, sweat and all.
  • Into the actual sea on a beach day, then left them to dry without a careful rinse.

The verdict: they held up. No tarnishing, no colour lifting, no green marks on my skin — the classic failure points for affordable jewellery. This is where Bohomoon quietly earns its reputation. "Waterproof" is doing real work here, not just sitting on the label.

The best jewellery is the kind you forget you're wearing — because you never have to take it off.

Price and styling

The prices sit firmly in treat-yourself-without-guilt territory, which is a big part of the appeal. Because the pieces are waterproof and hard-wearing, I found myself defaulting to them and stacking a couple of dainty ones for everyday, then adding a bolder piece when I wanted the outfit to do more.

They mix happily with jewellery I already own, and the everyday versatility is honestly what tipped me from "nice" to "would rebuy".

The verdict

What I loved:

  • Truly waterproof — survived showers, sweat and the sea with no tarnish.
  • Looks more expensive than it costs.
  • Comfortable, weighty, everyday-friendly.

Worth knowing:

  • Some designs are dainty, so check dimensions if you like a bolder statement piece.
  • Popular styles sell out — if you love it, don't sit on it.

If you want jewellery you can genuinely live in — gym, shower, sea and all — without spending a fortune or babysitting it, Bohomoon is an easy recommend. It cleared my (admittedly high) bar, and that graveyard of green-skin culprits has some new competition.
